Options

generate synchronous loops:

make the time loop(s) outermost to generate a synchronous program.

generate asynchronous loops:

lay out the outermost loop(s) in space to generate an asynchronous program.

solution with parallel operator:

solution at run time:

(see description in section 3.8.1, strategy 2.)

solution at compile time:

(see description in section 3.8.1, strategy 3.)

Note that not all combinations of the options above are possible.
